Welcome To MyOwnServer!

This is a website dedicated to helping people create and configure their own personal web servers.
The new version ( The one you're viewing ) has been created using MediaWiki, which I felt provided a much
better platform for the website and made it more open to contributors wishing to be a part of it and help with
maintaining the contents.

Since I do not have near as much time as I once use to, it has become difficult for me to keep things updated and filter
all of the numerous comments left throughout the site, especially since combating spam has become extremely difficult.
Due to the fact the feedback from the visitors has been excellent, I've kept the site up and running and tried to do what I can
to help those needing it. Hopefully the new format will be well worth the trouble!

Also remember, if you need help with something, please post those questions in the Support Forum and do not add them to a discussion page or edit them into any of the pages here. If you fail to comply, your question will be removed and you will not get an answer.

Otherwise, thank you again for visiting and I hope you find the new site a lot easier to use!
